Audi A6 facelift launched at Rs 49.5 lakh
German luxury carmaker Audi on Thursday launched an updated version of A6 sedan in India, priced at Rs 49.5 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
A6’s world premiere was held at the Paris Motor Show in October 2014.
The auto had gone through a few interior as well as exterior changes however it remains same from the mechanical view point.
Manufactured in India, the new A6 goes head-on with the very capable lot of premium luxury sedans including the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (segment leader), BMW 5-Series, Volvo S60 and the Jaguar XF. At the back, the taillights gets the split LED design and addition of a sleek strip of chrome on the rim of the boot lid, further draws attention to the lavish new A6. It gets Matrix LED head-lamps, a more prominent front grille, a restyled bumper, re-styled side skirts, and revised tail-lamps too.
“The Audi A6 Matrix sets new standards in innovative technology”. Large 8-inch display and a revamped navigation system will be offered on higher variants. Including the Matrix LED headlamps the auto is equipped with features like a all new infotainment system with Audi drive select, advance MMI with remote control for rear passenger and 8 airbags out of which two have been exclusively dedicated for the rear passengers seats.
