PPP leader’s kidnapped son recovered
Hussain Shah, eight-year old son of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Akhunzada Chattan, was abducted by unknown men in Bajaur Agency on Monday.
According to correspondent and family sources, Hussain Shah, the 10-year-old son of Akhunzada Chittan was kidnapped by unknown persons when he was waiting for school van near his house.
Former president and Chairman PPP, Asif Ali Zardari has expressed his concern over the abduction of Chattan’s son. Condemning the incident, Zardari said he was gravely concerned about the safety of the boy and demanded Bajaur Agency administration to recover him and bring the culprits to book.
Earlier in May, Akhunzada Chitan’s convoy came under attack in Manogi Salarzai, Bajaur agency.
Local residents said Levies personnel, who were assigned the duty to provide security to the former MNA’s family, opened firing on the kidnappers but they managed to escape.
