Pierce Brosnan explains knife incident
Pierce Brosnan insists the knife he tried to bring on a plane wasn’t for hunting – it was for his art.
The staff were apparently concerned with the contents of his carry-on luggage following a routine screening.
Speaking at the premiere of his new film No Escape, he told Extra: “It wasn’t ten inches long”. Sounds a bit generic, but as I said above, it very likely will turn out to be a harmless way to kill a few hours.
Speaking at the premiere of his new film No Escape, the Navan native was joined on the red carpet with his three sons, Sean, Dylan and Paris.
“The director and producer didn’t ever see my character like The Rock or something; it felt more like we are with our family in a foreign country where everything is confused and all hell breaks loose and you’re just trying to survive and protect your kids”. I’m an artist, so I had my pencils. Pierce was just lately seen in Hawaii as he celebrated his 14th wedding anniversary with his spouse Keely Shaye. He gushed, “We’ve been together 21 years…”
Pierce – who costars with Owen Wilson and Lake Bell in the upcoming action-thriller flick – similarly wore a patterned navy blue suit accessorized with a matching blue tie and a black and white pocket square for the LA premiere on Monday, August 17.
