Woman does ‘Tootsie Roll’ to help labor pains
The alleviate labor pains, Yuki Nishizawa danced the popular dance at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and made all of the nurses laugh. Trying to induce a little labor with the 69 Boyz (backed up by the Quad City DJs) and their classic song “Tootsie Roll”. I said, ‘OK, we should crank it up.’ We were laughing about it and I took some videos, thinking our friends on Facebook will think this is amusing. Coji Alexander Nishitzawa-Cloyd was born around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, weighing at a healthy 6 pounds, 15 ounces.
According to Cloyd, she was already seven centimeters dilated and hoped that moving around would help her deal with painful contractions. Yuki and her husband, Connell Cloyd, were preparing to welcome their baby, when Yuki decided that she wanted to get up and dance.
As she proceeded to do the side shuffle and two-step in front of the nursing staff, she didn’t let anything stop her… not even her water breaking. It’s been viewed more than 3 million times.
