Steven Tyler added to Pilgrimage Music Festival, to appear on ‘Nashville’
The Aerosmith frontman teases his upcoming appearance on the ABC drama series by sharing his picture with Hayden Panettiere from the set. Begging the question: Aerosmith or Patsy Cline?
How serious is Steven Tyler to show off his credentials as he prepares to launch a country album later this year?
Other country artists who have appeared on the show include Kip Moore, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, Luke Bryan and Brantley Gilbert.
Tyler issued the project’s lead single, “Love Is Your Name”, to radio in May before delivering the debut live performance of the tune on the season 14 finale of American Idol on May 13.
A date for the rock star’s episode to air has not been released, but “Nashville’s” season four will premiere on September 23.
He also told the magazine that he intended to mount a solo tour in support of the record, although he was “not sure when”. Willie Nelson, Wilco, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, Cage the Elephant, Band of Horses and more will also perform.
“Nashville is a musical mecca and there is no way I would’ve missed performing at the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival”, Tyler said in a press release.
