Lana Del Rey reveals details for new album Honeymoon
In addition to the tracklisting, Lana Del Rey shared an Instagram video that features old-timey footage and a snippet of new music. The album comes as a follow-up to last year’s Ultraviolence. I have watched many artists perform covers of this Fugees classic and Kelly’s version is instantly one of my favorites. After all Lana Del Rey just wants to get high by the beach. In this song Lana returns to the things she’s best at: singing about drugs and heartbreak in California with a pastel colour palette. You can preview that below. The closing track is a previously teased cover of Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood”.
Shockingly, “High By The Beach” is the title of the latest track from Lana Del Rey’s upcoming Honeymoon – and not the summary of my recent vacation in Jamaica.
Check out the symphonic cover below and take note of the tracklist beneath the video.
