More Scandal: Columbus Short Arrested Again

Bounty hunters imprisoned former Scandal celebrity Columbus Short right before he was celebrating his album release celebration. Short was also fired from his ABC show “Scandal” after his now ex-wife Tanee McCall accused him of threatening to kill her.

In the video obtained by the website the actor can been seen arguing with one of the bounty hunters – dressed in a jacket with Agent written on the back – claiming he felt afraid for his life.

“His arrest was not due to an outstanding warrant as was erroneously reported”, his rep said.

The bounty hunters had arrived because they were anxious that Short would flee the country, and they had been told they would get a cut of the $500,000 bail.

According to TMZ, Short was bum-rushed inside of a club at Universal Studios City Walk…just as he was about to do a soundcheck.

Short was subsequently let go from his hit show amid the arrest and other allegations of spousal abuse. “No additional information is available at this time”.

In December, Short admitted in an interview that he was struggling with a cocaine addiction.
