OSU Basketball: Complete 2015-16 Schedule Released
West Virginia fans can plan their trips to the Coliseum after the complete 2015-16 men’s basketball schedule was released Thursday.
The Wildcats will begin their conference schedule on January 2 against West Virginia. The Cyclones host Kansas on Monday, January 25 at 8 p.m. on ESPN, and will also close the regular season on the road in a showdown against Kansas on Saturday, March 5. This year it’s a Saturday-Monday trip with the January 2 opener at Kansas State followed by a January 4 game at TCU. Its game at Texas may end up on the Longhorn Network.
Even though the television schedule is incomplete and additional games are expected to be televised nationally, the Mountaineers are already slated for 22 regular season games on national television, including all 18 Big 12 Conference games. The games at Oregon and at home against Jackson State, Savannah State and Arkansas State are all part of the Global Sports Shootout.
The Sooners return four starters, 75 percent of their scoring, 74 percent of their rebounding and 83 percent of their assists from the 2014-15 squad that went 24-11 and finished in a tie for second place in the Big 12.
