Police Search Home Of Gene Simmons; Rock Icon, Family Not Suspects
His house is located in the 2600 block of Benedict Canyon Drive in Beverly Crest, police said.
The LAPD’s Internet Crime Against Chidren’s Task Force executed a search warrant at 8 AM, and we’re told cops seized computers and other evidence.
Authorities say the home of KISS’ Gene Simmons was searched Thursday afternoon by police but neither the rock icon nor his family are considered suspects.
Although no more information is available regarding the incident, the police confirmed that Simmons and his family members are not suspects of any crime.
Cheyanne Baker, the publicist for Simmons, released a statement saying the police visit was connected with a crime that might have occurred at the home last year while Simmons was away touring with his band.
He also starred in a reality television show on A&E, “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”, which documented life with his wife and children.
Police declined to provide specific details of the investigation, though it was confirmed that Simmons and his family members are not linked to any crimes.
