YouTube star who surprised wife with pregnancy news allegedly had Ashley
The Daily Mail reports today that Sam was listed as a former paid member per the Ashley Madison data that was recently dumped online by hackers.
The paper claims that someone signed up for Ashley Madison using Sam’s name and mailing.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, a user who appears to be the 29-year-old father of two allegedly “made two $189 payments to the infidelity service in September 2013, the same month his second child was born and he celebrated four years of marriage” with Nia. In response, Sam followed up with diatribe against the “haters”, and said his family was being persecuted for being Christians (videos below).
Sam and his wife Nia have been making videos on YouTube since 2006 but Sam’s pregnancy announcement video went viral sending the pair’s subscribers and views up overnight.
The couple later posted another video, announcing that Nia had suffered a miscarriage.
The account details show Mr Rader’s name, his town of Terrell, Texas, and a zip code which, according to verification by Daily Mail Online, matches his home address. Rader reportedly registered that domain in 2011.
But rather than angrily put their accusers in their place, Sam and Nia issued a confusing statement explaining that the pregnancy had been staged…by God.
When contacted this morning, Sam’s manager told the Daily Mail that “we are not going to comment on this right now”.
They are now attending a blogging conference in Seattle and have not yet responded to the allegations.
