New Moto 360 leak shows a smartwatch that could pass for stylish
Whatever the situation may be, it seems Motorola is close to launching the new watch with an updated design.
Reddit user ThatGuyWhoRuinedIt and Google+ user Gerrit Gödecke (as collected via Droid-Life) have both posted photos of what appears to be the second-generation version of Motorola’s Android Wear-based smartwatch.
When Motorola recently launched the X Play, it was keen to play up the capacious 3,630 mAh battery, which should keep it kicking long after rival phones have shut up shop.
Motorola has already unveiled its awesome new smartphone lineup-Moto G, Moto X Play and Moto X Style-but where the heck is the sequel to the company’s Moto 360?
The Moto 360’s “flat tire”, the black slice on the bottom of the round display looks like it will make a return. The phone will run an nearly stock Android Lollipop 5.1.1.
The Moto X Style is powered by a Snapdragon 1.8GHz hexa-core 808 SoC along with 3GB of RAM.
It’s been about a year since the launch of the original Moto 360, so it’s no surprise that we’re starting to see more and more leaks of its possible next gen version. Connectivity is taken care of with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Global Positioning System. Moving on, this device flaunts a 21MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1080p video recording, 5MP front facing camera.
Motorola Moto X Play, sports a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
On the storage side, the Moto X Play comes with 16GB /32GB built-in memory, with an expansion option of up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
