Paula Faris Replaces Bianna Golodryga at GMA
Bianna Golodryga is replaced by Paula Faris as the news anchor on Good Morning America’s weekend episodes.This announcement was made on Monday, July 21.
ABC news declared that Paula Faris will start from August 8. We wish to get a really popular episode with the presence of these 2 news anchor in this highly popular show.
Paula Faris has done graduation from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. Now she is in New York City with family that includes her husband and three children. Before joining Channel 9 as sports reporter and weekend anchor she worked at Dayton’s WKEF/WRGT-TV.
She joined ABC News in 2011.She has anchored “America This Morning” and the “World News Now” morning shows, at ABC news along with other ABC News shows. Faris recently grabbed attention at the World Cup in Brazil as ABC reporter. Before that, she was anchoring World News Now.
Departing Golodryga is leaving ABC and will be joining Yahoo! News. At Yahoo! News her role is of a news and finance anchor. Golodryga was co-anchoring GMA since 2010. She will be involved in combined reports from ABC News and Yahoo!
ABC News President James Goldston praised Paula Faris in the note he sent to the news division. He admired her as a terrific broadcaster. He also mentioned how beautifully she delivered news from the World cup and also her Real Money reports are helping American families to save money. He Added “Our audience on the weekends is growing steadily, and GMA is now the most-watched morning newscast on Saturdays and regularly beats Today on Sunday mornings.”
He did not forget to mention that he is very happy about Paula joining team of Dan Harris, Ron Claiborne, Sara Haines and, soon, Rob Marciano. At the end he congratulated Golodryga and wished her for her journey with Yahoo! News.
