Government, military emails found in Ashley Madison hack
The information comes days after hackers exposed cheating spouses around the world. Around 15,000 email addresses appear to trace back to US government accounts.
The Ashley Madison databases were initially only available via Tor browsers, or Internet browsers that allow users to access information without making visible their Internet addresses. “We do have a policy for City employees that they are only to use their email accounts for official business”, said Mayor Ballard Press Secretary, Brad Jacklin.

A search by The Dallas Morning News of selected local cities, school districts and Dallas County found dozens of possible email addresses, but many were clearly fakes and none could be immediately confirmed.
Lisa Murphy, spokeswoman for the Treasury Board, would only say that the government has rules for the professional and personal use of its computers. They seem to think nothing of confessing their deepest, darkest secrets online – things I would confess only to a priest under the seal of the confessional – or “sexting” naked pictures of themselves to an acquaintance or stranger. The department which, according to its website is “ensuring the public trust by securing technology assets and maintaining privacy of sensitive data and information”, had no comment.
Governor Robert Bentley’s office says he is looking into it.

Ashley Madison requested two other tweets to be removed because they included screen shots of Ashley Madison’s financial spreadsheets that apparently contained no crucial details.
“Unfortunately your data was leaked in the recent hacking of Ashley Madison and I now have your information”.
“If you’re choosing to spend your time chasing after somebody for social reasons that probably presumes that you have questionable judgment and are not spending the time with your children”, Stahancyk said.
He said it only took him a few minutes to pinpoint the exact names of those who signed up on Ashley Madison. On Tuesday, hackers released 10 gigabytes of data.
One assistant U.S. attorney declined through a spokesman to speak to the AP, and another did not return phone or email messages.
