Autism organization helps piano prodigy meet Taylor Swift

The “Blank Space” singer recently made one little boy’s dream come true when she invited 7-year-old Jacob Velazquez to come to meet her at one of her shows.

Jacob’s mom wrote on Autism Speaks that his birthday nearly coincides with a nearby Taylor Swift concert, which is sure to be a present he’ll never forget.

When he was four, Jacob was diagnosed with high-functioning autism, a developmental disorder that impairs the ability to communicate and interact socially despite having average or above average intelligence.

“I HAVE to give you a hug for that beautiful piano medley you did!” But just like nearly everyone else, he’s also a die-hard Taylor Swift fan. “My treat”. I can’t wait to meet @taylorswift13!!! “I sometimes sit with him at the piano and call out track numbers from her most recent album”. He listens to her album every day and is constantly watching her videos on YouTube. “Jacob will play the song that corresponds, without ever being taught the music notes”. He has asked me how she became so talented and I tell him that she has been practicing for a very long time.
