Arizona Rattlers’ lineman-size dancer busts a move
Hernandez is a professional dancer and choreographer who looks like he should be on the field protecting the quarterback. His moves are mesmerizing.
OK, so the man in the Rattlers uniform isn’t actually a player.
The AFL’s Arizona Rattlers chose to spice up their halftime show over the weekend by adding an element that most halftime shows don’t usually have: A dancing football player.
The crowd immediately erupted in cheers to the fancy footwork and twerking that Oscar Hernandez began to display.
“I’m what they call the secret weapon for a lot of these teams”, Hernandez told The Sporting News, laughing.
Hernandez has worked with numerous professional sports teams, according to the site, and artists like Busta Rhymes, Salt-N-Pepa, T-Pain, Flo-Rida and Jay Sean.
He also teaches classes of all levels in the Phoenix area. “It’s been big here, but I think it was the split”.
