Ashley Madison hackers say ‘nobody was watching,’ bad site security
A $A787 million class action lawsuit has been launched against the owner of affair-seeking website Ashley Madison on behalf of Canadian users whose personal information was hacked and leaked online. Roughly 15,000 accounts were traced back to government and military email addresses.

On Friday, the hackers, who call themselves the Impact Team, told a technology website they have a massive trove of data including users’ photos, internal documents and emails they intend to release online.
In the United States, it has been revealed that a number of US Government employees with high security jobs were using Government networks to access the site.
While Romero’s filter prevented many of these emails from going out, he estimated that around 500 were sent before the filter was activated.
Engadget posted that the hackers have dumped the stolen Ashley Madison data onto the Dark Web last Tuesday. It also included addresses associated with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Other domains on that list include Carmel, Greenwood and the Indiana Department of Corrections.
When Eyewitness News skimmed the list, two Statehouse elected officials’ e-mails were on the site.
In a written statement, a DND spokeswoman echoed some of Murphy’s statement, and said the department “has policies and practices in place to deter, detect and enforce unauthorized and prohibited computer use”. However, she refused to comment if any of them had links to Ashley Madison. I’ve had so many email accounts over the years.
US television personality Josh Duggar, known as a family values activist, acknowledged he had used Ashley Madison after being outed by the news website Gawker. He said he has not used its services.
I.T: Not just sites. “That’s just awful”, said Jesslyn Hall of Monroe. But what we found most interesting were the accounts linked to government entities here in Texas, from city email addresses to state ones, and public universities.
“I was single, joined for three to four days and the site wasn’t that interesting”, he said, explaining why he registered at the extramarital affair platform this year.
