Chelsea sign Falcao on one-year loan

Though Chelsea have not been busy during the transfer window so far, signing Falcao on loan, while their counterparts have been busy. The salary quoted by various media outlets is around the mid £100k mark per week, which isn’t insane by any means and a huge paycut on the salary he was being paid at Old Trafford.

“The players that are there will adapt a lot easier this season, they’ve had a year with him, he’s had a year with them and it should be a more comfortable position to start from”.

Regardless of the competition his team are competing in, Jose Mourinho genuinely wants to win every trophy.

The 30-year-old forward moved to the Emirates three years ago but struggled to hold down a place in Arsene Wenger’s side – spending the second part of last season on loan at Inter Milan.

Most Chelsea supporters aren’t at all convinced, but the thought of a Costa/Falcao pairing does summon curiosity.
