Boss Simon Cowell, 55, has called on her to bring in new ideas to ensure this year’s “make or break series” is a ratings hit.

The X Factor 2015 kicks off with a double bill on Saturday, August 29 on ITV at 8PM with a bumper 90 minute episode. This will be followed on Sunday August 30 at the same time with a 60 minute installment.
