Second wicket down, 3rd will fall next week: Imran Khan
He declared the verdict of Election Tribunal on NA-122 a landmark decision and a “proof” of the large-scale rigging in the General Elections 2013.
Cheerful to have the NA-122 election tribunal’s verdict in his favor, Imran Khan warned the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) of staging a sit-in if it did not respond to his letter pertaining to electoral rigging, ARY News reported.
Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that PML-N’s second wicket has fallen but it took the chief of a political party to struggle for two-and-a-half-years and spend millions of rupees to get justice.
Khan said that he would stage even longer sit-in than the previous one if the commission did not answer his letter. “Today, it became clear to all why Nawaz Sharif was unwilling to allow audit in four constituencies”, he added. “Another is likely to fall next week”, Khan said as supporters cheered and clapped.
