Gardaí name victim of Kildare shooting
A 22-year-old man was gunned down in the Greenhills area of the town last night.
Investigating gardai have since arrested a boy in his early teens and another in his late teens.
It is believed the killer fired a number of shots.
It is understood he was hit three times but this has yet to be confirmed.
A man, aged 22, was rushed to Naas General Hospital after receiving gunshot wounds at around 5pm. His condition was described as serious.
Gardaí have sealed off the scene pending a technical examination, while an investigation has also been launched. No arrests have yet been confirmed.
The state pathologist has been notified and anyone with information’s asked to contact Gardaí.
The pair were arrested and taken to in Leixlip and Naas Garda Stations.
