Texans fall to Broncos 14-10

On one telegraphed pass Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall nearly picked Mallett off a short throw. In the second half, the Texans came out with the ball and Tom Savage got the only offensive points for Houston, leading the Texans down the field for Randy Bullock to kick a 32 yard field goal. Chris Polk led the Texans on the ground with 7 carries for 36 yards.
The Broncos would punt and pin the Texans deep in their own territory where the offense couldn’t get much going.

Houston had one final drive.
The Texans defense came out firing to start the game, forcing a punt thanks to a nice third down play by first round pick Kevin Johnson.
