‘Rent is too damn high’ guy endorses Deez Nuts for president
Deez Nuts – or rather, Brady Olson, a 15 year-old-high school student – announced on his campaign’s Facebook page that while he will, of course, endorse himself for the general election, Kasich and Sanders have his support within their own parties.
“This is not for the general election, I endorse myself for the GE”.
A joke presidential candidate with national buzz is backing Sen. And, in another: “For the Republican nomination, my endorsement goes to Ohio governor John Kasich”.
In reality, Deez Nuts couldn’t actually win the presidential election because Olson is too young.
Deez Nuts is also getting the measured support of Limberbutt McCubbins, a gray tabby cat from Kentucky who is running for the Democratic nomination, the Daily News reports. He stated he completely agrees on me with social issues and even some on fiscal issues.
Deez Nuts filed paperwork with the FEC in July.
“Not really“, he added when asked whether his endorsement could tilt the nominating process in Sanders’ favor.
Google Trends posted graphs Friday showing that interest in Deez Nuts had overtaken the frontrunners for both political party nominations after the survey’s release, gaining more attention and Google hits than Clinton and Trump as of Friday.
He also surpassed Sanders in online popularity between Wednesday and Friday. As we get closer to November 2016, he may eventually have to bow out for any number of reasons (e.g. the fact that he is two decades younger than the minimum age requirement for the presidency).
In recent polls, the third-party candidate drew 9 percent in North Carolina, 8 percent in Minnesota, and 7 percent in Iowa, according to the New York Times.
