Baltimore County fire lieutenant killed in motorcycle crash
The crash occurred on Laurel-Bowie Road, and police believe the motorcycle in the northbound lanes crossed the center line before hitting the southbound motorcycle.
Authorities say a Baltimore County hearth lieutenant was considered one of two individuals killed in a motorbike crash in Laurel.
We are on scene investigating a double fatal motorcycle crash in the 11500 block of Laurel Bowie Road in Laurel, 2 males pronounced dead. He was promoted to paramedic/firefighter in 2004 and reached the rank of lieutenant in 2009.
Harrison’s most recent assignment was as a fire dispatcher, where he was responsible for assigning equipment and personnel to emergency calls.
Dave Hays, assistant chief of CRS, said Harrison spent much of his adult life in Hagerstown and moved to Bowie after meeting his wife.
CRS paid tribute to Harrison on the department’s Facebook page. “R.I.P. our Brother”. Harrison averaged two shifts a week with CRS, Hays said.
