Kerbal Space Program to blast off on Xbox One
Announced via a teaser trailer yesterday, Kerbal Space Program – the critically acclaimed PC title – will be coming to Xbox One.
Kerbal Space Program will blast off on Xbox One at some point in the future. But it’s a trial and error process and you’ll get there in the end.
Once the game’s green humanoids have been loaded onto your ship, blasted off into space and successfully landed on a planet, they must be put to work on completing a mission. The game usually costs $39.99 on Steam so it should carry a similar price tag when it launches on the Xbox One.
The game is a sandbox-style simulation where you build rockets, with the ultimate goal being to send your little characters – the eponymous Kerbals – to the moon.
The game’s model is quite realistic making other notable members of the space industry from NASA and SpaceX to take interest in the game.
In GameSpot’s Kerbal Space Program review we awarded it a 9/10, praising it for its realistic physics, stiff but gratifying difficulty curve, and the many challenging ways to play it provides.
