Doctor Who: The Doctor gets new outfits this season

The photos tease the return of Missy and Kate, and as an added teaser, Peter Capaldi described an ominous-sounding event that will be coming up.

Speaking to Doctor Who Magazine, executive producer Steven Moffat revealed that for the upcoming third and fourth episodes of season 9 (written by Toby Whithouse), we are going to have a chance to see a story that takes on a variety of different weird topics.

Some of the fans of Doctor Who have something to say about this possibility.

Meanwhile, Moffat has given us a little insight into Missy’s return in series 9, including the fact that she WON’T be the enemy The Doctor has to face in the opening episodes! “He’s a Time Lord and he’s not a guy”, he went on to point out during the Comic-Con where he and other Doctor Who cast members were part of a panel. According to actress Hayley Atwell, she strongly expresses her opinion in playing a character in the long-running TV show Doctor Who; mainly pointing out that she wants to be the one and only lead role for Doctor Who Season 9.

The American-English actress has played the feisty character in a series of Marvel blockbusters, most recently “Ant Man”, and had great success with the Fox TV series built especially around her – “Marvel’s Agent Carter”.

As we know, there are plenty of Claras throughout the rest of time and space, all in different positions. “I think I’ve expressed myself about this as clearly as you could … some people are not reading the subtext, because it’s too subtle”, the EP was quoted as saying (via EW).

Series 8 of Doctor Who had Whovians divided over Peter Capaldi’s take on the Doctor. Would they have a sense that, on some level, they know each other? Of course the beginning and ending of every season of Doctor Who brings out Whovians speculating on whether this season will be the last for the Doctor and his companion.
