Men: Apocalypse Completes First Unit Filming
The film will make it to US theaters May 27, 2016 making the 2016 summer season loaded with comic goodness as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad are sandwiching Apocalypse with their releases on March 25th and August 5th respectively.
Director Bryan Singer posted photos from the wrap party, showing the cast letting their hair down.
X-Men Apocalypse has wrapped and the cast are partying it up. But now…the wrap party! Second unit shooting will continue for a few weeks.
X-Men: Apocalypse also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), James McAvoy (Professor X), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), and Sophie Turner (Jean Grey).
Meanwhile, the “X-Men: Apocalypse” cast and crew enjoyed their wrap party and even shared some of the pictures on Instagram, reports Entertainment Weekly.
As already revealed by Singer, Alexandra Shipp who has been recently acclaimed for her acting in “Straight Outta Compton” will play Storm. Munn captioned the image, “A director and his #horsemen”. The two were responsible for whipping Munn into shape and even taught the actress impressive katana and martial art moves. In a year positively jam-packed with big films, Civil War comes ahead of X-Men: Apocalypse, which is out on the 19th May, while Independence Day: Resurgence lands on the 24th June.
