Alexander O’Neal was ‘pushed’ into leaving Celebrity Big Brother

The Criticize singer left the Big Brother House after calling gossip blogger Perez Hilton a “f****t” and it shocked fans when he appeared to “walk out” of the house.

Speaking to the Daily Star ahead of CBB’s summer launch this Thursday, Al dished: “I never walked out”.

The upcoming series of Celebrity Big Brother is right around the corner, and now Channel 5 have released images of the Diary Room chair which sticks extremely closely to this year’s theme of UK vs. USA.

“So we came to a mutual agreement and they said they would pay my full fee”.

He allegedly told the newspaper, “I love my job, but I hate people knowing who I am…” You and your underwear’.

“I didn’t want to go”. I was never going to quit and I didn’t quit.

It’s a good job he did agree to leave early though as the 61-year-old admitted he would have made Perez’s life “a holy hell”.

“We asked the public about the idea and couldn’t believe the response we got, anything from, “a once in a lifetime opportunity”, “great idea”, “yes, yes, yes”, “a chance to experience the real big brother house, that would be brilliant”, to “I’d rather be eaten from the toes up by a great white shark”.

We just wonder why the same option wasn’t ever given to Perez’s number one nemesis Katie Hopkins…
