Hugh Jackman returning to Oz with an “arena spectacular”
The “Broadway To Oz” concert show will play major arenas in five cities and is structured as a personal journey through Jackman’s life, from early days in outback Australia through successes in musical theater and Hollywood stardom, reports variety.com.
The Xmen star was supported by his wife Deborra-Lee Furness and daughter Ava as he told reporters his very exciting news.

The tour will begin in Melbourne in November before moving to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
A company of 150 musicians, dancers and singers will be there to back up the dad-of-two as he brings the magic of Broadway to Aussie shores!
“Roles in Australian independent films “Paperback Hero” and “Erskineville Kings” were followed by Hollywood successes including “The Prestige”, The Fountain”, “The X-Men” franchise and its “Wolverine” spinoff, and “Les Miserables“, for which he earned an Oscar nomination. In fact, Jackman was last on Australian stages with the 2006 arena tour for Boy From Oz.
Jackman said the semi-autobiographical show would include songs from Les Miserables, The Boy From Oz, Carousel, a medley from great movie musicals including Singin’ in the Rain, home video footage, guest performers, dancing and stories from behind the scenes of well-known moments in his career.
