Zac Efron Couldn’t Keep in mind ‘Breaking Free’ From ‘High School Musical
The We Are Your Friends star, 27, couldn’t remember the name to the movie’s love ballad, “Breaking Free”, during a game with Cosmopolitan UK.
However the movie star was well and truly stumped when his Breaking Free anthem was played during an interview with Cosmopolitan to promote his film We Are Your Friends.
Emily, on the other hand, immediately nabbed Beyonce’s Drunk In Love before Max inadvertently knew of the title EDM-inspired track from their flick We Are Your Friends.
Emily made him feel better about his mistakes by jokingly addressing: ‘You’re trying to focus on your craft’.
Heads up to all “High School Musical” fans, this Zac Efron news is heartbreaking.
None of the them were able to guess the name of a One Direction song, with Joseph saying that he thought the song was from the 1980’s. “There’s three movies of songs!” The interviewer then chides him for not answering correctly but doesn’t seem to realize that the words “soaring” and “flying” are used repeatedly in “Breaking Free”, meaning that he did sort of get it right the first time. The Troy and Gabriella duet went on to chart inside the top 10 in both the US and UK nine years ago next month and has sold more than half a million copies worldwide.
Like you, Zac Efron is no longer a teenager.
