In a frank interview with The Sunday Times Style Magazine, the 23-year-old Come & Get It singer opened up about how she was often “destroyed” by the press and even chased by helicopters due to her prolific romance with 21-year-old Justin. “The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it”, Selena told the newspaper, before opening up about the media attention their relationship attracted.

Despite all of her relationship ups and downs, Selena admits she’ll be ready for love in the future but she doesn’t “really want anything right now”.

In 2008 Sel spoke to Extra about her decision to wear the ring.

“I didn’t think I was doing anything bad by falling in love,” she said.

She also mentioned that being a teenager made it hard for her to have a relationship. “I’m going to keep my promise to myself, to my family and to God”.

During this romance, the pair both wore purity rings, which is usually accompanied by a religious vow to abstain from sex before marriage. Selena and Justin are actually both promoting diss songs they wrote about each other after their recent hook-up sessions came to a screeching halt when Biebs found out he was not the only man in SelGo’s life and she was also hooking up with Orlando Bloom. “Sometimes you have to lie to yourself to get through the criticism, and then you’re in your closet crying”.

But if she finds one, and if it doesn’t work out, she knows that Taylor Swift will always be there for her.

When asked if she is in love at the moment, she replied: “No. I’ve been working my butt off. I’m dating, but I don’t really want anything”.

In the mean time, Jonas and Gomez remain on good terms and reveal that they are just friends. “Taylor is one of the greatest people”, Gomez said.
