‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Sneak Peek – The First Three Minutes
“The Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman has been a bit quiet these days, mostly because he doesn’t have a choice. In an interview with Nerdist, he shared that the new zombies would make the violence in the story different and “much more startling”.
Although Fear the Walking Dead is different in many regards, there is the possibility that having two shows set in the same universe and airing at the same time will have a negative effect on fans.
Let executive producer Dave Erickson start with the latter for “Fear”, its shorthand title, which debuts at 9 p.m. EDT Sunday with a six-episode run.
Nick Clark, Madison’s son, will be the first character to actually see the Walkers. This time around however, the world starts going to hell in a Los Angeles church, as Nick (Frank Dillane) discovers his drug buddies in a dire state.
That means we get to witness the seriously bad stuff which went down while Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was in his coma. The spinoff shouldn’t be quite as zombie-heavy as its older sibling, but that doesn’t mean that gore has been entirely eradicated as we travel from Georgia to the West Coast.
It seems that AMC has now mastered the art of building excitement when it comes to its long-running series “The Walking Dead“. Ruben Blades co-stars as Daniel Salazar and Mercedes Mason is set as Daniel’s daughter, Ofelia, who encounter the core cast when the civilization begins to crumble.
Fans in Germany and Austria will be able to watch the series the day after it airs in the US, beginning on Monday (August 24). The waking nightmare he’s destined to encounter is from the menace that’s descending on the city, not just his addiction. Madison is the guidance counselor and the local high school and Travis works there as well, as an English teacher. Check out the first scene of the series right now! “Their inclination is not going to be to beat down if it’s a walker coming at them”.
Being part of a “huge franchise” is a privilege and opportunity, Curtis added. Our characters do not and that creates a tension and a sense of dread in the viewing experience that I think is unique to our show, and very exciting.
