Instead of coasting, Abel’s keeping the hype train going by dropping a video for his newest single, “Tell Your Friends”.

The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness is gearing up. “We are not the same I am too reckless”, croons the Canadian native, donning all-black everything as he walks with a shovel toward a mound of dirt in a desert wasteland. In fact, the other way to interpret Tesfaye burying himself alive might be that it’s just the latest iteration of his old self-destructive tendencies. Could it be a zombie? Looks like this video has more of a story to reveal, which could pick up in the next visual the singer releases.

The track has gained a considerable amount of buzz as his first collaboration with Kanye West, and, while it’s a stark contrast to his usually darker material, “Tell Your Friends” is a nice addition to The Weeknd‘s recent pop turn.

The Weeknd has one of the hottest songs of the summer with “Can’t Feel My Face”, but he’s letting you know in his own twisted way that he’s still Jenny from the Block (basically).
