Oppo R5s packs more RAM and storage into 4.85mm-thick body
Oppo has recently launched the new R5s which is an upgrade variant of well-liked super-slim R5 Smartphone.
The Oppo R5s will be available from OppoStyle starting August 25 for around $225. The new Oppo R5s is only 4.8mm thin and will soon make its debut on the market. The amount of RAM has been boosted to 3GB from 2GB, and internal storage has been doubled to 32GB.
The Oppo R5s smartphone has been listed by the company’s Europe site and bears a price tag of Euro 199 (which goes to around Rs 15,000).
Along with the gracious increase in RAM, the R5s features a 5.2-inch AMOLED Full HD display. The device is powered by the same 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor (2.1GHz quad-core + 1.5GHz quad-core) alongside Adreno 405. Some of their innovations integrated in smartphones include the motorized rotating camera on the Oppo N3 and they have also been focusing on making better hardware designs for their products, which can be seen on the back of the Mirror 5. The front-facing 5MP camera also comes with an f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery and supports VOOC charging technology which is said to charge the battery from 0 to 75 percent in around 30 minutes, according to the company. The Oppo R5s measures 148.9×74.5×4.85mm and weighs 155 grams. On the front is a 5-megapixel camera with the same aperture. Instead, Oppo has chose to put Android 4.4.4 KitKat platform inside, along with ColorOS 2.0 UI on top. And the connectivity options that comes packed with the device are Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G, GPRS/ EDGE, and Micro-USB.
