Grand Theft Auto V Gets Rockstar Editor On PS4, Xbox One
When the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V launched earlier this year, it included the Rockstar Editor, a tool for capturing and editing gameplay to create videos.
It is mentioned in the blog post that the next Rockstar Editor contest will be the first one to accept entries across all three platforms because by then Rockstar Editor will already have arrived on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the next update for Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online. They also announced that all 3 versions will receive a number of new features and content for the Rockstar Editor as well.
The stunt race creator pointed out that one of the features they are now working on for the next update is a tool that will enable creators to “properly stack props, adding proper support for that highly-requested feature powering super fun mega-ramps, loops and parkour courses”.
According to the announcement on the Rockstar Newswire, a major update for GTA 5 and its GTA Online mode is coming next month.
