Pettine: McCown OK, nothing changed with Browns QB situation

With coach Rex Ryan saying he won’t declare a starter until Week One of the regular season, the quarterback competition goes on. “That’s what I want to do”.

“We did some good things”. “I think Josh has done everything right since the day he’s been here”. Excluding those seasons as outliers, he is only 13-28 as a starter, which is obviously not good. “There’s a couple of things we did out there that we can learn from”. I wouldn’t say putting heat on.
