Dez Bryant got punched in the face during Cowboys-Rams fight
Deadspin reported that he lost one of his diamond earrings in the fight.
The team will instead stage a walk thru before heading back to St. Louis. Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant took to Twitter on late Tuesday to share his thoughts regarding the said fight: “I wish I would have cheap shot his ass. then all of y’all would have seen the difference”. Browns wideout Brian Hartline thinks it’s a question worth asking.
“They would be great here”, said Dickerson, who set the NFL record with 2,105 yards rushing for the Rams in 1984. There’s not place for that, from the standpoint of being role models in this game and representing this game for kids. Bottom line, fighting just makes your team look classless. We certainly don’t want Dez to be hurt because of it. If there were right answers we would address it and get it fixed. “(Dolphins coach) Joe (Philbin) and I talked about it and we both feel the same way”. Upset with the performance of his receivers, Bryant was vocal with his group. Lance Dunbar participated in a full practice on Monday for the first time in two weeks. “But I wasn’t really expecting that many”. We got some things done. “I knew the Rams used to be here, but it was nice having that kind of support for us”.
A pair of brawls highlighted Tuesday’s joint practice between the Cowboys and the Rams. This one was worse though as it ended up being bigger and spilling over to the sidelines near the fans. “It happens every single time”.
Says Cowboys COO Stephen Jones: “We’re going to have to continue to emphasize that stuff is not what we want”. Rams coach also said a few words saying, “There is no excuse for it. You can’t blame it on anybody”. The Fearsome Foursome. That is part of our DNA growing up, so there is no team that can claim they are more integrated into the psyche of the people that were old enough to attend football games than the Rams. It’s not good for either team.
It’s silly. Grown men getting paid at least hundreds of thousands of dollars to play a sport risk injury to mostly push and shove and slap each other in a brief, meaningless display of bravado. Or am I right to assume that most of these injuries are just keeping players out of practice and the team is being overly cautious? And you can see it stuns Bryant.
Asked if he’ll think twice in the future about jumping in without a helmet, Patmon smirked and then said: “Man, we’re just out there”.
Training camp fights have been happening all offseason however when two teams are involved the impact is always magnified. It’s natural. You have 90 players on each team giving it their all.
There have been many acts of violence in the NFL as of recently.
