Jacqueline Jossa makes early return from maternity leave to film ‘explosive

Lauren discovered she was pregnant around the same time she found out Peter’s brother had murdered her best friend Lucy and as the couple left for New Zealand, Peter presented her with an adorable “I love London” baby grow.

Max has been wrongly accused of killing his 20-year-old lover Lucy Beale, but Lauren is among a handful of characters who know that schoolboy Bobby Beale was the real culprit behind his half-sister’s demise.

But after hearing news her father’s behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit, Lauren’s set to make an “explosive” return to the soap in the coming weeks.

Jacqueline Jossa’s long-awaited EastEnders return is FINALLY happening – and the actress has already filmed her “explosive” top-secret comeback scenes. “She agreed not to unmask Bobby as the killer but surely that won’t be at the expense of her own father…”

Her maternity leave isn’t officially over until the New Year, but the 22-year-old has headed back a little early to film a number of exciting scenes.

While the report says Lauren will be there at Max’s trial, the character won’t make her full return to the soap until next year. “So insane. almost 5 years of my life, amazing”, she tweeted before heading off on maternity leave. “You’re not LEAVING leaving though?”

We guess that answers the question then…

And, while we hoped that the pair would find their happy-ever-after over the other side of the world, we couldn’t help but hope that Jacqueline Jossa and Ben Hardy would return.
