DASHCAM VIDEO: Man uses dog on leash as weapon against officer

Police were responding to calls of a suspicious person when they confronted the man, who swung his dog at the cop.

A weird confrontation was caught on a police cruiser dash cam in Park City, Kansas. The officer found 26-year-old Michael Rush walking a dog through residents’ backyards. The officer said he believed Rush was inebriated, either by alcohol or some other substance.

“I’ve seen people try to use a dog and sick it on someone, but never seen someone pick one up and swing it through the air and use it as a weapon”.

In the video, the man identified as Rush can be seen trying to walk away from the officer before charging at him.

The Kansas man used the dog’s leash to swing the poor pet at the police officer. Minutes later, backup arrived and officers arrested the man. The dog, which wasn’t hurt, is now at a local animal shelter. “It’s disturbing”, said Chief Bostain.
