Oppo unveils R5s smartphone
Chinese system maker Oppo has introduced an upgraded variant of R5 smartphone – Oppo R5s.
The Oppo R5s will be available from OppoStyle starting August 25 for around $225.
The new Oppo R5s retains the slimness of its predecessor (4.85mm) which is one of its most highlight features.
Rest of the specifications of both the handsets are identical.
Oppo R7 Plus, sports a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
It is equipped with a 13MP shooter with LED flash and Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor and 5MP in front with 83-degree wide angle lens. There’s also a secondary 5-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls. Unfortunately, at the moment, the Oppo R5s seems to be running Color OS 2.0, which is based on Android KitKat.
The new R5s features nearly similar specs from R5 expect RAM and inbuilt storage.
The phone feature Oppo’s VOOC charging technology. For connectivity the R5s has 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, and a microUSB v2. In other news, Oppo R7 Plus is finally going on sale (via GSMArena) in limited markets.
