The Biggest Loser’s Alison Sweeney is exiting after 13 seasons as host
Host Alison Sweeney, who has been with the show since 2007, will be leaving the show, TVGrapevine has learned. The news of Sweeneys departure comes from Access Hollywood, who shared the following statement from The Biggest Loser producers.
Sweeney has been with the show in one way or another since the fourth year of it being on the air, and has become in some ways an iconic presence for it.

The Biggest Loser premiered in 2004 and is a contest to help overweight contestants lose weight with professional trainers. The past season, subtitled Glory Days, averaged fewer than 5 million weekly viewers and was a marked downturn from the previous seasons. In addition to starring in it, Sweeney also serves as an executive producer. The 38-year-old tv character, who’s additionally well-known for her work on Days of Our Lives, spent 13 seasons as the host of the show. Shes now filming Love on the Air for the network.
No replacement has been named for season 17, which does not yet have a premiere date.
