Protesters gather at Planned Parenthood sites, upset over undercover video

Planned Parenthood nationally and in Utah stresses women not getting pregnant until they want to become so – providing counseling and contraceptives – and reproductive health for women.

Planned Parenthood officials gave a statement of their own, insisting that the organization does not use fetal tissue for medical research, in any of the states.

Saturday’s crowd was estimated at 4,500 by Brian Gibson, the executive director of Pro-Life Action Ministries, one of the groups that organized the protest.

We reached out to Planned Parenthood but they said because it’s a Saturday they didn’t have anyone available to comment about the protests. The state claims those locations primarily in Southwest Florida, self-reported they performed some abortions outside their first trimester limit. The reality is that they have so much revenue from just abortions alone that there’s no reason why Americans should have to pay that.

“The doctor who is doing the abortions doesn’t actually have admitting privileges at any hospital within 30 miles, which is a state law”, Hoffmeyer said.

The Center for Medical Progress also shows flyers in which the company touts its profitability and its partnerships with a Planned Parenthood clinic.
