Amy Schumer, Scarlett Johansson & Kendrick Lamar to Kick Start “Late Show with”
The special will have sketches and musical performances.
Stephen Colbert has announced the guest list for his first week of the Late Show, and from musicians to tech company CEOs, it’s an eclectic mix. Colbert is replacing David Letterman, who signed off earlier this year. Now, CBS has revealed the entire first week of guests for their new flagship late-night program. A spokesperson for MBC told tabloid! they have no information on plans for The Late Show being aired in the UAE, although they did clarify that they work with other studios, and other networks buy from CBS, too.
As he gets ready to make his “Late Show” hosting debut, Stephen Colbert now has his brand new “Late Show” marquee lit up for all to see. (Hopefully, that duo will play beer pong while doing Stupid Human Tricks.) Now it’s been announced that the September 9 show will feature Scarlett Johansson; Elon Musk, chief executive of Tesla Motors and SpaceX; and Kendrick Lamar (who, close observers will note, had previously been slotted into opening night). Then on September 10, singer Toby Keith and Uber CEO Travis Kalanick will stop by and “Trainwreck” star Amy Schumer, writer Stephen King, and Troubled Waters, a Paul Simon tribute band, will appear on September 11.
