Creepy cloaked figure spotted leaving raw meat in children’s playgrounds

It is impossible to determine from the surfacing photos of the cloaked figure is a man or a woman.

Someone in Gastonia, North Carolina, is going around town freaking just about everyone within an arm’s distance out. Why?

The photos went viral after sparking fear among some residents in the Gastonia neighbourhood of North Carolina when it was caught on camera lurking outside an apartment complex.

Photos of the terrifying person have been circulating on social media for the past month, with the local paper reporting that the figure has been seen dropping meat as well as standing around in a sinister fashion.

Gastonia Police spokeswoman Donna Lahser told WBTV, the Observer’s news partner, that investigators were called out to meet with the manager of the Hudson Woods Apartment complex last Monday about the photo.

“We don’t know if it’s one of our residents with an interesting way of presenting themselves, or if it’s a trespasser”.

Whether the photos are a prank or not, it still has some residents on edge.

Brooke Conard, whose yard backs up to the woods that border the apartment complex, told the Gaston Gazette that she doesn’t find it as a amusing joke. “I’d think if you do that you might want a more low profile look though”.

Police aren’t sure who this person is or what they are doing either.

Officials in the community have yet to confirm or deny that the cloaked figure has been dropping raw meat.

Kelsie Cooper added: ‘This is a serious thing that needs to be addressed’.
