‘Let’s stay positive!’ Avril Lavigne posts a montage of herself with fans
Avril Lavigne has responded to a Tumblr post which compared her meet and greet photos to Taylor Swift’s – and she’s got wise words for us all.
The drama began on Tumblr, where Swift allegedly liked a post showing Lavigne and other celebrities awkwardly posing with fans, whereas Swift was pictured embracing her supporters. Even if they did shell out almost $400 to meet her, that still means they need to respect her personal space.
Interestingly, this is the second week in a row Swift has been compared to another artist, although last time she was the one being judged. She is really a fake feminist.
Posting an enormous montage of herself smiling with dozens of different fans, she wrote: ‘Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. The “Girlfriend” hitmaker took to Twitter on Sunday night, August 23 to address the comparison which made her fans upset. “We all Love our fans”.
She explained the message behind the photo filled with smiling kids: ‘For the third year, proud to announce we’re helping kids and young adults to attend summer camp to learn new skills, make friends and build confidence’.
Sharing a couple of collages showing her being super lovely with her fans, Avril added: “So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive”.
Taylor Swift might’ve offended a fellow pop star, who called her out on it on Twitter.
