OnePlus 2 Price Will Be Under $450

As mentioned, the OnePlus 2 is set to greet the world on July 27th through the wonders of VR. The tweet accompanied an image of the company’s CEO Pete Lau quoted saying, “I can promise that the OnePlus 2 will be priced under $450”. The OnePlus One 64GB launched at $350 (around Rs 22,000). In January, the phone was able to cross the million mark, it also received a rating of 8 and above (on a scale of 10) from the major tech blogs. Till then, Fingers crossed. “We’ve seen price estimates for the #OnePlus2 upwards of $500”. Today the OnePlus 2 price was finally announced although they didn’t quite nail down the price.

Just to remind you, being priced under $450 is not an exact figure, but it will definitely get you folks happy, especially those who want to purchase a killer smartphone under the $500 range.

There are no other official details regarding OnePlus 2’s specs, but the rumor mill speculates that the handset will be equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen and a 16 MP rear-facing camera. Obviously that price will vary somewhat depending on your locale and the variant as three versions of the OnePlus 2 were recently spotted at Bluetooth SIG. The company went on to address the heating concerns and said, “Although there have been reports that the 810 runs warmer than its predecessors, we assure you that we have taken all the necessary precautions and beyond to prevent this from occurring in the 2”.
