Like Bristowe, Bachelors have had sex on the show before, although not before the so-called “overnight dates”, when the competitors have been narrowed down to three. As the two talk, with Kaitlyn marshalling all the courage she needs to spill the beans, Nick shows up and barges in.

Uh, yeah, TOTES! But Ben H. had a secret that he wanted to get off of his chiseled chest. Kaitlyn’s face drops, but she agrees to hear him out. They arrive at a private island with old stone buildings, and they decide to play hide and seek together. For a man to reveal himself and be vulnerable and then essentially get crushed, you can’t expect them to all take it so chivalrous and perfect. Kaitlyn gushes that Ben is definitely “husband material”.

Yes, Monday’s group date – a fake wake for Kaitlyn – was super-creepy. I will say this: I would set him up with any one of my best friends or family because Ben Z.is a stand-up guy. Could this mean Nick and Shawn get into a huge fight? Kaitlyn’s touched by his confession and reassures him that he’s “very lovable”. Just straight out: “Are you a virgin?”

After a couple attempts at stalling, Kaitlyn is finally honest with Shawn about Nick. But then Nick shows up and ruins the moment. When Shawn B. visited her at the end of last week’s episode, she thought she might have to address the Nick situation with him. I like where she’s gone, and how she’s recovered from those mistakes. Instead, he said he’s excited to have alone time with her and talk to her all night long. When Kaitlyn told him she has something to say, he responded with the sweetest “You can say whatever you need to say”.

Joe addressed the awkward and mad goodbye that he had with Kaitlyn. But beyond the spotty beard, everybody loved him and same with Kaitlyn.

Bristowe went on to explains that she tried “not to look too much into” what the haters have to say, “because everybody has their opinions”.

But after the hug Joe doesn’t know what to do. In Dublin, Kaitlyn slept with Nick.

And Shawn continued to share his thoughts with the lens on the eve on the rose ceremony. Next, she hands out roses to Nick and Ben. Still reeling from the blow of having to send Cupcake (aka Chris) home after their uber-romantic helicopter ride, she was a bit of a sad sack as she headed into her next one-on-one – this time with Ben. I think she’s been very open and honest. After their trip to church, they decide to go out for drinks at a local pub. Kaitlyn doesn’t hold back. Anyways, Shawn went off on Nick, basically having a girlfight. He also reveals in the biggest “WHAT?!” moment of the episode that Shawn bragged about being “eskimo brothers” with someone because they both hooked up with a famous country singer in one night. The episode will also see Kaitlyn on a group date with the guys where Shawn and Nick are expected level up the tension. Afterwards, Kaitlyn gives Nick the key to a fantasy suite and he happily accepts. Then they wandered into a cathedral, where Nick told Kaitlyn a seemingly far-fetched (but touching) story about how his parents met at church and were engaged six months later.
