Dublin airport suspends flights due to fire
Planes have been seen circling above the airport, and passengers have been advised to check with their airline for flight information.
The airport says the blaze is in a hangar in a restricted area, which is separate from the passenger facilities.
Flights have been suspended at Dublin Airport after a huge fire ripped through a hangar.
The fire was reported at around 7am this morning.
She said they were alerted to the fire about 7.50am on Wednesday morning.
Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed that units from its headquarters as well as Finglas and Kilbarrick & Swords are attending the fire.
The relevant crews are dealing with the situation at hand but flight operations are now suspended according to the Dublin Airport Twtiter feed.
Several arrivals have already been diverted to Shannon and Belfast airports.
