‘Stunning’ Number Of Extreme Drug Doses By Detroit Doc, Expert Says
A sentencing hearing begins Monday and could last at least a week. “His name causes an instant headache”, the 62-year-old autoworker tells NBC.
While it appears there is broad support in the South Carolina Legislature to bring down the Confederate flag, the depth of that support will get its first test this week as lawmakers return to Columbia to come up…
Fata diagnosed Sobieray with a rare blood cancer in 2010. “I hope he gets life”.
Fata pleaded guilty to committing millions of dollars in fraud against insurance companies and patients. WXYZ reports Fata’s lawyers have asked for a 25-year sentence.

Except neither Robert Sobieray or Patty Hester was suffering from these conditions.
“Dr. Fata was unique in that he saw patients not as people to heal, but as commodities to exploit”.
When the doctor was arrested in 2013, Sobieray consulted another doctor and discovered he never had cancer.
The hearing could last more than a week with ex- patients expected to speak in court Tuesday.
“We felt hopeless and in despair”, he said. A mediport was implanted in his chest, and he was also given over 25 chemotherapy treatments within six months, which was four times the amount given to cancer patients in remission.
A once trusted doctor is about to go to jail for a very long time for treating perfectly healthy patients for cancer.
“I’m not sure that there’s ever a circumstance where a patient should get five years of chemotherapy for this disease”, said Longo on the stand Monday.
The patient was given 195 chemotherapy treatments, 177 of which were unnecessary according to the statement. Not only did these patients lose huge sums of money in the process, but later developed a plethora of agonising diseases, and some people even lost their teeth.
“He gave her too much chemo”. Fata had different ideas. “And none of that happened”, Blades said. They say the rituxan destroys your immune system.
Steve Skrzypczak, shown here with wife Barbara, was told by Dr. Farid Fata that he had non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. “But I would not say that all the treatment was inappropriate”. He says he later learned he didn’t have cancer.
Prosecutors describe Fata as “the most egregious fraudster in the history of this country, measured not by the millions of dollars he stole but by the harm he inflicted on his victims, over 550 identified so far”.
“I need my money!” (An anesthesiologist had to pay $500,000 for mocking a sedated patient.). Fata’s defense attorneys have asked that he be sentenced to 25 years behind bars. When combined, there are more than 1,400 family members and victims affected by the doctor’s actions, and all of them want to give him a piece of their mind during the sentencing phase. “I feel something that he’s done to me every day”. “I don’t know if I can trust a doctor again”.
