Bayern captain slams any chances of Man United target leaving this summer
The Red Devils had previously tried to complete the signing of the superstar forward from the Bundesliga champions a year ago.
Manchester United are still hoping to land Bayern Munich star striker Thomas Müller, and they are aiming to reach a deal by this week.
“Thomas is one of those role models who you can’t attach a price-tag to”.
However, Bayern’s sporting director Matthias Sammer insisted later that Muller was not for sale at any cost, as per talkSPORT, and that the World Cup winning Germany global continues to be a crucial player at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern have been consistent in turning down all approaches for one of their key players, and have insisted that they will not sell anyone else to United after Bastian Schweinsteiger moved to Manchester.
The former Germany captain claimed that Muller is priceless.
Lahm, Muller, Holger Badstuber and Austria worldwide David Alaba are the last four players now in the Bayern squad to have come through the youth academy.
“There shouldn’t be a concern about Bayern’s identity”, he added.
With skipper Wayne Rooney struggling for form, United fans have called for Louis van Gaal to delve back into the transfer market in a bid to solve United’s goalscoring woes. “We have Manuel Neuer, Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who have been here so long that their hearts practically beat red”.
