Donald Trump Kicks Univision Anchor Out of Event
“He’s often called the Walter Cronkite of Latino America”. He pressed Trump on the specifics of the real-estate magnate’s controversial immigration plan, noting that it would likely be unconstitutional and logistically impossible.
Jorge Ramos was doing HIS JOB as a journalist at a press conference in which he appeared freely and democratically, representing one of the most important Latin television networks in the world and with the same right to freely exercise his profession as all other journalists. “So no, I came to Iowa to ask questions”, he said Wednesday on “CBS This Morning“. He just stands up and starts screaming. “And frankly he was out of line”.
SAVANNAH GUTHRIE: Let’s start with Today’s Top Story. Trump is at the top of the polls in the GOP field, drawing more passion and bigger crowds than his Republican competitors. “We’re going to do this in a very humane fashion”. “I got a lot of credit for it”, Trump boasted to conservative radio host Laura Ingraham a day after his bodyguards escorted Univision’s Jorge Ramos out of the event. “Good, absolutely. Good to have you back”. You decide, was Trump was out of line?

Trump has been sore at Univision ever since the network decided not to broadcast his Miss USA pageant, citing his “insulting” remarks about Mexican immigrants in June.
“As a Presidential candidate, Mr. Trump is going to get tough questions from the press and has to answer them“. Ramos asked Trump a question without being asked.
TRUMP: No, you don’t.
“No, you haven’t been called”.
The Univision anchor was later allowed back into the press conference. I would have gotten to (Ramos) very quickly.
“I don’t even know where he is”.
Peyronnin added that Ramos’ independence and fearlessness date back to his work as a TV journalist in Mexico. He has to explain how he wants to deport 11 million people. How would Trump build a 1900-mile wall?
